A & C Communications is a telecommunication construction company that provides services including the installation of buried and aerial telephone lines and all related units and procedures. A & C is RUS qualified, bonded, and insured, with over 40 years experience in telephone plant construction. A & C has over 400 pieces of equipment available, including Directional boring machines, Backhoes, Trenchers, Plows, Bucket Trucks, Digger Trucks, Forestry Bucket Trucks, Brush Chippers, Pick-ups, etc.
A & C is capable of all aspects of telecommunications construction, both buried and aerial. Services include, but not limited to: pole setting, cable placement, fiber to home, rock trenching, fiber blowing, splicing, and all other related procedures pertaining to telecommunication construction. A & C Communications possesses Tennessee, Alabama and Virginia contractors license with unlimited monetary bidding limits.
A & C also has it's Georgia contractors license, and an Indiana Certificate of Authority.
On March 24, 1981, A.B. Creed of Greesboro, N.C. and Heyward Adams of Burkesville, KY started A & C Communications. Incorporating it in the State of Kentucky. August 19, 1982 A.B. Creed sold full ownership to Heyward Adams, This continued until October 12, 1998 when Mike Clark of Dubre, Kentucky elected to become company co-owner and vice-president. Current Secretary/Treasurer of the Corporation is Connie Adams of Burkesville, KY.
